Leadership Manual for the FPA of OH Job Descriptions
The FPA of NE Ohio has developed and implemented a leadership structure
that has radically changed the progress we are making toward specific
future goals. The Leadership System outines the following six steps:
Fostering Trust, Creating Vision, Developing Strategy, Energizing
Alliances, Activating Transformations, and Measuring Progress, Achieving
Results, and Resetting the Vision. Work is progressing so rapidly, we have
continual need for new member participation.
As our Board has
worked with these values, a distinct leadership structure has emerged.
Each Board Member is responsible for a committee which will take hold of
and carry out the FPA of NE Ohio goals. The committees consist of committed
members who volunteer their time on a regular basis to work on important
issues. In turn, with each new project that is proposed, volunteers are
drawn from the active membership pool to add to the number of members
involved in local leadership and to the amount which can be
accomplished.
The dynamic effects of this leadership structure include the ability to
not only meet goals, but to surpass them and create new projects and
accomplishments along the way. The Chapter is also teaching this system to
sub-committees to provide continuity and continuance of goals for years to
come. It is exciting to see our current leaders collectively committed to
active leading! Changes for our future are phenomonal!
If you have
a couple of hours to volunteer or are interested in serving on the Board
or a Committee, scan over the committees and their strategies. We would
invite you to complete a Chapter
Leadership Volunteer Questionnaire. You may also email a board
member directly or Lynn Bracic, Executive Director, at fpaneo@aolcom. If you would like a
copy of the Leadership
Team Manual for the FPA of NE Ohio, it can be downloaded in pdf format.
The Job
Descriptions are also available, but in Word format.
